Getting started
How do I open the app?
Go to app.aienglishspeaking.app in your phone or computer browser. On iPhone, tap Share and then Add to Home Screen; on Android, use the browser menu and Add to Home screen. After that it opens like any other app.
Do I need a microphone?
Speaking out loud is the point, so yes, ideally. If you are somewhere you cannot talk, you can answer by text for that session and the corrections still work.
What English level do I need?
Anything from a confident beginner upward. The placement session estimates your CEFR level and the scenarios match it. If you can read this page, you can start.
Which languages is the coaching in?
Persian and English are fully supported. Other languages are generated on demand from a registry of 78. The English you practise can be American or British.
How sessions work
Why only two minutes?
Because two minutes happens every day and forty minutes happens twice and then stops. Two minutes is enough to produce real sentences and get one correction; the spacing across days is what makes the correction stick. You can run more than one session a day if you want.
Why does it teach only one thing per session?
Because you will remember one thing and forget a list. The other mistakes are not ignored; they go into your error ledger and come back in later sessions, one at a time.
What does it mean that an item is closed?
You used it correctly in three separate sessions, spaced out over days, without being reminded first. You can change the three to anything from one to ten in settings. Until then the item stays open and keeps coming back.
Why will it not teach me something new?
Because you have three items open. The app never opens new territory while three problems are unresolved. Close one and the next thing comes in. This is deliberate and it is the reason the same mistakes stop repeating.
Can it check my pronunciation?
Pronunciation mistakes are recorded in the ledger and corrected in text and audio. Detailed pronunciation scoring is planned and not shipped yet; we will not pretend otherwise.
Account, cost and privacy
Is it free?

Who can hear my recordings?
Your speech is transcribed to produce the correction. It is not shared with other learners and it is not used for advertising. The privacy policy says exactly what is kept and for how long.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Write to privacy@aienglishspeaking.app from the address you signed up with and your profile, ledger and recordings are deleted.
Is this a replacement for a teacher?
No. A good teacher gives you things an app cannot: judgement, conversation, encouragement that means something. What the app gives you is the daily correction loop a teacher cannot be there for. Many learners use both.
